Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules for using Scout and the limits of the service.
Privacy disclosures live in the Privacy Policy.
Using Scout
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Scout, including the website, hosted APIs, connector MCP servers, account features, and related browser automation services.
By accessing or using Scout, you agree to be bound by these terms and to use the service only for lawful business, internal operations, research, or development purposes in compliance with applicable platform, website, browser, and contractual restrictions.
Accounts and responsibility
You are responsible for activity under your account, for protecting your credentials, and for ensuring the data, destinations, and automations you run through Scout are authorized.
You must maintain reasonable security over API keys, Scout access tokens, OAuth sessions, and browser installations. If you believe an account or credential has been compromised, you must revoke or rotate it promptly and notify us when appropriate.
Acceptable use
You may not use Scout to violate law, breach contractual restrictions, bypass access controls, exfiltrate secrets, scrape or automate in ways that are not permitted, or interfere with the security, reliability, or availability of the service.
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, sanctions or legal risk, security issues, or violations of these terms, with or without prior notice where necessary to protect the service or other users.
Billing and paid services
Paid features, credits, billing plans, budgets, and usage limits may be described separately in the product or billing flow. You are responsible for charges incurred through your account and any connected credentials.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing, included usage, or plan structure prospectively, and those changes will apply on a forward-looking basis.
Privacy and analytics
The Scout website may use analytics and operational telemetry to understand acquisition, engagement, reliability, and product performance.
Our Privacy Policy describes how website analytics, account data, and service-operation data are handled and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Your data and permissions
You retain ownership of the data you submit to Scout. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, transmit, and cache that data solely as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to process the sites, accounts, materials, and content you automate through Scout.
Disclaimers and liability
Scout may be offered on a beta or evolving basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as available and as is basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or error-free performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the period immediately preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no fees were paid.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of Scout after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.
